Delivered this cake today for Ashlyn and Cam's Papa. Finally learned for black icing it is much easier to make chocolate icing and dye it then to try and dye white vanilla buttercream. I also tried a new icing recipe which came out with an amazing fudge consistency and the black is perfect!
I cut the cake topper out using my cake topper and used some distress ink to colour the moon. Added lots of white and gold dragees to look like stars.
