I was so excited to do this cake for a good friend's wedding. Wedding cakes are so much fun to do. I love being able to deliver it to the venue and setting it up. This set up was super easy, especially when there was no casualties in the travel. Thank goodness as it's been over two years since since I'd done a two tiered cake.
The bottom tier was an 8" three layer pumpkin cake with cream cheese icing. The top tier was a 6" three layer lemon cake with cream cheese icing. Both were covered in fondant. The purple flowers were made a few days in advance to allow them to dry out.
